Build a strong knowledge base

The quality of Corvai's answers depends entirely on what you teach it. Here is how to do it properly:

  • Add your website URL first — Corvai reads every page automatically
  • Add Q&As for anything your website does not fully cover — pricing, process, what makes you different
  • Write answers the way you would say them — Corvai uses your exact words
  • Cover your most asked questions first — what do customers ask before they buy?
  • Keep it up to date — if your prices or services change, update your knowledge base
  • Test it yourself — go to Chat Test and ask questions your customers would ask

What is a Knowledge Gap?

A knowledge gap is a question your customers asked that Corvai could not answer confidently.

Every time Corvai is not sure of an answer, it logs the question in your Knowledge Gaps tab. This is one of the most valuable features in Corvai — it shows you exactly where your knowledge base needs improving.

What to do:

  • Check your Knowledge Gaps tab at least once a week
  • Add a Q&A answer for any gap that keeps appearing
  • Over time, Corvai gets better and better at answering your customers

  • Open conversations — Corvai is still handling these or they need your attention
  • Closed conversations — resolved by AI or your team
  • Handover — when Corvai cannot help, it flags the conversation for your team
  • Reply directly — your team can jump into any conversation and take over
  • Internal notes — leave private notes for your team that the customer never sees

Before you go live, always:

  • Use Chat Test to ask at least 20 real customer questions
  • Check every answer is accurate and reflects your business correctly
  • Add Q&As to fix any wrong or incomplete answers
  • Test again after adding new content
