Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules governing how you may use the services provided by Corvox Limited, including the corvox.co.uk website, the Corvai platform and any related services. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy. This policy should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

I. Definitions

In this Acceptable Use Policy, "Corvox", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Corvox Limited (company number 15101843). "Services" refers to the Corvai platform, the corvox.co.uk website and any related services we provide. "You" and "your" refer to any business or individual accessing or using our Services.

II. Permitted use

You may use our Services for lawful business purposes only. You must ensure that your use of the Services, including the way you deploy and configure the Corvai platform, complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring that your customers and end users are treated fairly and lawfully when interacting with any AI assistant you deploy using our platform.

III. Prohibited use

You must not use our Services in any way that is unlawful, harmful, fraudulent or that could damage, disable or impair the platform or interfere with any other user's access to it. In particular, you must not use our Services to:

Transmit, store, publish or process any content that is illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, hateful, threatening, harassing, obscene or otherwise objectionable
Infringe or misappropriate the intellectual property rights, privacy rights or any other rights of any third party
Upload or process any content that contains viruses, malware, spyware or any other harmful or malicious code
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, servers, databases or other infrastructure, or to any other user's account
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any part of our platform
Use our Services to build, develop or train a competing product or service
Resell, sublicence or otherwise provide access to our Services to any third party without our prior written consent
Use our platform to send unsolicited communications, spam or bulk messages to any individual or organisation
Use our Services to engage in any activity that constitutes a criminal offence or gives rise to civil liability in any jurisdiction
Use the Corvai platform to generate, distribute or promote misinformation, deceptive content, or content designed to manipulate, exploit or harm individuals
Deploy the Corvai platform in any context where AI-generated responses could cause harm if acted upon, including but not limited to medical diagnosis, legal advice, financial advice or emergency services, without appropriate human oversight and disclaimers
Circumvent, disable or interfere with any security features, access controls or usage limits of the platform
Use our Services in any way that violates applicable data protection laws, including processing personal data without a lawful basis or without appropriate consent from individuals

IV. Responsible use of AI

The Corvai platform uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. You acknowledge that AI systems can produce inaccurate, incomplete or misleading outputs and you accept full responsibility for how you deploy and use the platform. You must not use the Corvai platform in a way that is deceptive to your customers or end users. Where required by applicable law or good practice, you must make it clear to individuals interacting with the Corvai assistant that they are communicating with an AI system and not a human.

You are solely responsible for training the platform with appropriate, accurate and lawful content, testing it thoroughly before making it live and continuously monitoring its outputs. You must not use the platform to generate content that you know or suspect to be false, misleading or harmful to any person or organisation.

V. Your responsibility for end users

Where you deploy the Corvai platform on your website or any other channel, you are responsible for ensuring that your customers and end users are treated in accordance with applicable law, including data protection law. You must have appropriate privacy notices and consents in place with your own customers before collecting their data through the Corvai widget. Corvox Limited is not responsible for how you collect, use or manage data belonging to your customers or end users.

VI. Monitoring and enforcement

We reserve the right to monitor use of our Services to ensure compliance with this policy. If we reasonably believe that you have breached this policy, we may suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately and without notice. We may also report any illegal activity to the relevant authorities. Suspension or termination in accordance with this policy does not entitle you to any refund of subscription fees paid.

VII. Reporting violations

If you become aware of any misuse of our Services or any content on the platform that you believe violates this policy, please report it to us at hi@corvox.co.uk. We take all reports seriously and will investigate and take appropriate action where necessary.

VIII. Changes to this policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, the law or developments in AI regulation. Where changes are significant, we will notify you by email. Continued use of our Services after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
