Corvai uses artificial intelligence to process information and generate responses to customer enquiries. While we take every reasonable measure to ensure accuracy and reliability, AI systems can make mistakes. Responses generated by Corvai are based solely on the content and knowledge provided by the business using our Platform and should not be relied upon as professional, legal, medical or financial advice. Corvox Limited accepts no liability for inaccuracies in AI-generated responses. The laws and regulations governing artificial intelligence are evolving rapidly across all jurisdictions. We are committed to monitoring these developments and updating our practices, policies and disclosures accordingly.
We collect different types of personal data depending on how you interact with us. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address and company name. When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment information is processed securely by Stripe and we do not store your card details directly. When you use our Platform, we collect the content you upload such as documents, website URLs and Q&A pairs used to build your AI assistant's knowledge base. We also collect data from conversations between your website visitors and the Corvai assistant, which may include any contact details those visitors choose to share during a conversation.
In addition to the data you provide directly, we automatically collect certain technical and usage data when you visit our Website or use our Platform. This includes your IP address, browser type, device information, operating system and information about how you navigate and use our services.
We use your personal data to provide and operate the Corvai Platform and our digital marketing services. This processing is necessary for the performance of our contract with you under Article 6(1)(b) of the UK GDPR.
We process billing data to manage your subscription and handle payments. This is also carried out under Article 6(1)(b) as it is necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations to you.
We send service-related communications such as account confirmations, billing notices, platform updates and support responses. This is done on the basis of our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR, as it is necessary to operate our business and support our customers properly.
From time to time, we may contact you with marketing communications about new features, offers and company news from hi@corvox.co.uk. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interests where permitted, or with your consent where required. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by contacting us at hi@corvox.co.uk.
We also process data to improve our Platform and services, which we carry out under our legitimate interests, and to comply with any applicable legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c) of the UK GDPR.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We share data only with the following trusted service providers who help us deliver our services: Stripe for payment processing, Amazon Web Services for cloud infrastructure and data storage, and OpenAI for AI processing within the Corvai Platform. All of these providers are bound by data processing agreements and are required to protect your data in accordance with applicable law.
We will update this section if we engage any additional sub-processors. We may also disclose your data to comply with a legal obligation, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property or safety of Corvox, our users or the public.
Our services are used by businesses across the world. Some of our sub-processors, including Amazon Web Services and OpenAI, may process data outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where such transfers occur, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses approved by the UK Information Commissioner's Office, to ensure your data is protected to the same standard required under UK GDPR regardless of where it is processed.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or for as long as is necessary to provide our services to you. If you cancel your account, we will delete or anonymise your data within 30 days, unless we are required by law to retain it for longer. Billing and financial records may be retained for up to seven years to comply with UK accounting and tax obligations.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data, request deletion of your data in certain circumstances, restrict or object to how we process your data, request your data in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hi@corvox.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days. If you are based in the European Union, you may also have rights under EU GDPR and can contact your local supervisory authority. If you are based in California or another US state with applicable privacy laws, please contact us and we will assist you in accordance with those laws.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our Website and Platform. Please refer to our Cookie Policy for full details on what cookies we use, why we use them and how you can manage your preferences.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or destruction. Where changes are significant, we will notify you by email or through our Platform. The date at the top of this page shows when this policy was last updated. Your continued use of our services after any changes take effect will be taken as your acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have concerns about how we have handled your personal data, please contact us first at hi@corvox.co.uk and we will do our best to resolve the matter. If you remain unsatisfied, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom at ico.org.uk. If you are based outside the UK, you may contact your local data protection authority.
